About My Clients
I work with adults, couples, adolescents, and children ages 10 and older who may feel stuck in recurring patterns, overwhelmed by a transition, disconnected from themselves or others, or drawn toward deeper self-understanding. My practice welcomes concerns involving anxiety, depression, relationships, identity, creativity, grief, school stress, ADHD, and autism. Together, we explore both immediate difficulties and the deeper emotional and unconscious patterns shaping them.
My Background and Approach
I am a Certified Jungian Analyst and Licensed Mental Health Counselor with more than twenty years of combined experience in psychotherapy, education, and Jungian training. My approach is grounded in analytical psychology and depth psychotherapy. I work collaboratively with patients to understand recurring emotional and relationship patterns, dreams, creativity, life transitions, identity, and questions of meaning and purpose. Jungian psychoanalysis attends not only to present difficulties, but also to the unconscious patterns that may be shaping a person’s life. Depending on the patient’s needs, our work may include conversation, dream exploration, and attention to symbols and imagery. I also offer Jungian Sandplay Therapy to children, adolescents, and adults. Sandplay can provide another way to express and explore experiences that may be difficult to put into words. With children, I may also incorporate developmentally appropriate play therapy.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe meaningful change begins when people feel genuinely seen, understood, and accepted. I strive to offer a warm, thoughtful, and nonjudgmental space where patients can speak openly, become curious about themselves, and explore what may be difficult to approach alone. Finding the right therapist matters; some people feel a connection quickly, while others need time to decide whether the relationship feels right. I welcome people of diverse identities, relationships, and ways of living.
