About My Clients
My clients are often people who’ve held it together for everyone else but feel exhausted, disconnected, or stuck. Many are in recovery or healing from trauma and want more than symptom management—they want real change. I work with individuals and couples ready to look deeper, break old patterns, and build lives that feel honest, stable, and meaningful.
My Background and Approach
I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Certified Addiction Professional, and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional with a background in law enforcement and child protective investigations. I specialize in trauma, addiction, and couples work, using EMDR, IFS, TIR, DBT, and Gottman methods. My clients benefit from a balance of real-world experience and evidence-based care—therapy that’s both practical and transformative, focused on creating lasting emotional and relational change.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My own healing has included working through self-acceptance around my sexuality and the deep wounds of religious trauma. I know what it’s like to internalize shame and feel caught between who you are and what you were taught to believe. Over time, I’ve reconnected with a more authentic spirituality—one rooted in compassion, integrity, and purpose rather than fear or conformity. That journey informs how I sit with clients navigating identity, belief, and belonging. I don’t impose a worldview; I help people find one that feels true and life-giving for them. I believe in the power of grace, honesty, and accountability to restore meaning and connection. Recovery and healing—whether from trauma, addiction, or disconnection from self—aren’t about perfection. They’re about reclaiming agency, aligning with your values, and learning to live as a whole person, not a divided one.
