About My Clients

I approach therapy with unconditional positive regard, meeting clients where they are while fostering a collaborative, evidence-based process. I work best with clients who are ready to engage actively in their growth, understanding that meaningful change requires effort. Drawing from a range of therapeutic modalities, I tailor treatment to each client’s needs and goals, creating a safe and supportive space for self-reflection, healing, and change.

My Background and Approach

I utilize a strengths-based approach (in combination with other modalities) to empower clients in developing effective coping skills and achieving their goals. In our work together, we will identify and challenge negative self-talk, fostering the use of each client’s innate strengths to promote growth and resilience. I began this journey to help others, just as I was supported in my own life. I am here to provide a safe and nonjudgmental space where you can explore the challenges you are facing. Regardless of where you are emotionally, I am committed to walking alongside you as you strive to live your best life. I look forward to supporting you on your journey.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

We all have our own story of how we arrived at our current situation. Most stories are full of struggle. There are a lucky few who did not have to struggle to get where they are. Like the many, I had to. I saw this not to feel sorry for me or make this about me. However, if I were to tell my story, the only reason it has a happy ending is because of therapy. After my experience getting treatment from a mental health clinician, I discovered myself and who I wanted to be. I started in Law Enforcement because I wanted to help people. After 13 years, I learned I could do it a better way. I became a therapist because I want to help people become a better version of themselves, genuinely, how ever they might define that. Therapy is hard work and can be frustrating but it is fruitful. I consider myself blessed to be in the situation I am today. Considering the battles I had to fight within myself to get here. I can promise you anything other than doing my best to help you feel the same way.
