About My Clients

My Background and Approach
I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) and compassion-based treatments to help you live a richer and more meaningful life. Learning "in-the-moment" skills for managing thoughts and feelings will help you be the person you want to be in the moments that count. I will work with you to create a feeling of ease, even when stressed or anxious. No more distracting with home projects or putting others needs before your own. The goal is to get you back into a life which is truly fulfilling and satisfying. Whether you are struggling with grief, trauma, OCD, stress, job loss, life transition, chronic pain or just want a listening ear, I am hear to help. My Personal Beliefs and Interests
In my practice, I prioritize creating a compassionate and safe space for clients to discuss their fears, life stressors and emotional experiences. More than anything, my hope is that you learn the skill of Self-Compassion so that you treat yourself with the same kindness that you will experience in therapy. Whether you are having anxiety, depression, shame, or substance abuse, I am here to serve you in your time of need.
