About My Clients
Generally I work well with spiritual seekers, artists and those who value deep explorations into their interior life. I see therapy as a journey we both go on together, one that seeks to better understand and mitigate suffering but that is expansive in its discoveries of the self, relationships and the unconscious. I practice EMDR for those who seek more immediate relief from traumatic symptoms while my general framework is interpersonal, insight-oriented and involves reflective depth work.
My Background and Approach
I have recently completed an EMDR basic training at National Institute of the Psychotherapies and an intensive year of psychodynamic and family systems training at the Institute of Contemporary Psychotherapy. I am versed in the principles of Emotionally Focused Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Attachment Theory, Intergenerational Trauma and EMDR. This fall I will began my 4-year training as a psychoanalyst at the National Institute of the Psychotherapies (NIP).
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Empathy, vulnerability and individuation are core themes that can help individuals transform and lead connected and meaningful lives . Approaching every human relationship from a place of deep interpersonal valuing and curiosity is a means to expansive trust and love.
