About My Clients
My clients benefit from the opportunity to have a supportive therapist that is able to meet them where they are. Although they are looking to experience growth and develop the tools to manage neurodivergent diagnoses, family conflict, challenging behavior, or family conflict, they feel safe in knowing that in our sessions, who they are today is enough. They are able to thrive with the support of learning who they are today is worthy of the goals they have set.
My Background and Approach
I have a bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies that informs me of how to assist children, their families and young adults in building a life where they are able to thrive and not just survive. Many individuals have learned survival techniques of how to manage ADHD, Autism, challenging behavior, and family conflict. However, they have found that they no longer work or that it has not created a life that brings them peace and lasting joy. My master’s in social work enables me to provide therapeutic services for clients not only as individuals, but also as individuals within social systems including education systems, family systems, and their communities. As a therapist, my approach is strength based while combining evidenced based CBT and DBT interventions. We utilize these interventions in order to help clients deconstruct aspects of life that have caused dysfunction in order to rebuild a life where not only their needs are met, but they are also able to thrive.
