About My Clients

Are you struggling with leaving the past behind you? Are you trying to find your voice in your relationships? Are you wanting to free yourself from family trauma or your own history of complicated patterns? Wanting more positive thoughts? Rediscovering yourself? Feeling lost or unmotivated? Afraid of your feelings/reactions? I look forward to helping you overcome these challenges as you grow to understand them and develop long lasting tools for overall stress relief and growth!

My Background and Approach

It takes courage to seek out professional help but it is also the strongest thing that you can do simply because it is easier to avoid than it is to confront. I am here to support and empower you during your journey. We will take it one session at a time because I want to meet you where you are. I believe in creating a comfortable environment so that you may effectively challenge your thoughts and feelings. I am direct, empathetic but I also like to add in a laugh during our session. I have experience in helping clients with trauma/PTSD, stress and anxiety, depression, grief, coping with addictions, LGBTQIA identity and exploration, relationship issues, family conflicts, post-partum depression, child/play therapy, in addition to personality disorders and low-self esteem. I am a NAMA Certified Anger Management Specialist (Level II) therefore, understanding that anger is a natural human emotion that we all experience. Sometimes we need assistance exploring it in a much healthier way.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe that therapy works best when you have a great connection with your therapist. I know that life can have its difficulties. Having a healthy and non-judgmental support system and the right tools for coping can help you achieve your best self. I believe in being authentic with my clients because I want you to feel free being yourself as well. As therapists we are human too and as humans we connect through relatable experiences and characteristics. During my time in therapy as a young adult, I learned how to be honest with myself and allow others to support me when needed. I want to be your support so that you can achieve the same peace, confidence, and overall positive well-being.
