About My Clients
Common goals of my clients are to heal from trauma, to build or strengthen coping skills, and/or to explore their identities. In addition to targeted symptom reduction, clients often walk away from our work with a new sense of confidence in themselves and their ability to navigate relationships.
My Background and Approach
I have been a therapist for over 10 years. My style is relaxed, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practices. I have advanced training in trauma, attachment, family therapy, and Early Childhood Mental Health. I also enjoy serving folks who identify as Queer, Poly and/or Kink.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a Social Worker, I believe that therapy can be a tool for social justice and welcome clients who want to examine their privilege and/or who seek liberation from controlling relationships and oppressive environments, including high-control religions. Personally, I identify as queer, poly, kinky, and disabled. My family is neurodivergent and genderqueer. We also have a soft spot for rescuing and rehabilitating pit bulls :)
