About My Clients

I specialize in supporting individuals who are navigating life transitions, trauma, anxiety, and relationship challenges. I work best with clients who are ready to explore their emotions, gain insight, and develop healthier coping strategies. My ideal client may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of how to move forward—but they’re open to growth and ready to do the work. I particularly enjoy working with adults, parents, and first-generation individuals.

My Background and Approach

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Supervisor (LCSW-S) with extensive experience working with individuals and families navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, and major life changes. I’ve had the privilege of supporting clients through some of their most vulnerable moments, and I approach each session with empathy, cultural humility, and a trauma-informed lens. As a bilingual, first-generation clinician, I bring both lived and professional experience that helps me connect deeply with clients from diverse backgrounds. I am trained in evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR, and Group Traumatic Episode Protocol (G-TEP), which allows me to tailor treatment to each client's unique needs. My goal is to create a safe, collaborative space where you can feel heard, gain clarity, and build tools to move forward with strength and resilience.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

As a first-generation, bilingual Latina therapist, I am deeply committed to creating inclusive, culturally responsive spaces where people from all walks of life feel seen, heard, and valued. I believe in the power of healing through connection, advocacy, and reclaiming one’s story. My practice is rooted in social justice and the belief that mental health care should be accessible, affirming, and empowering—especially for historically marginalized communities. I stand in solidarity with movements like Black Lives Matter and support immigrant rights, LGBTQ+ equality, and trauma-informed care for survivors of systemic oppression. I’m passionate about breaking generational cycles, de-stigmatizing mental health in Latinx communities, and helping individuals reconnect with their strengths and cultural identity. Outside of the therapy room, I engage in mentorship and community education to promote equity and mental wellness.
