Are you concerned about your anxious nature? Are you constantly thinking about what ifs? Or do you have a hard time letting go of the past? Are you concerned about lost interest in things that you once enjoyed? No one is happy all the time and a little anxiety is good for us, but if are tired of being depressed and anxious, together we can find ways to get you back to happy or living the best life you can.
My Background and Approach
I believe people need to tell their story, then we can discover the why behind actions or inactions. Maybe you think different from other people, and need to explore cognitive distortions. Maybe you need to forgive yourself and take responsibility for your behavior. If you can voice what's wrong, we can get work together to get you back on the right track. I also believe depression, anxiety and stress ends by working at it and walking it off.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I love reading the Bible. Job and the Psalms are full of depression, anxiety, and encouragement. I also believe in life application, so we can look at Bible characters but we will discuss how their life helps your life.
