I have helped many clients with anxiety, PTSD, and stress. Sometimes we need a little extra support. Helping my clients learn healthy alternatives and coping strategies for worrisome thoughts through interventions such as mindfulness, guided imagery and learning healthy strategies.

Having gone through some family conflict myself early on in my marriage and learning tools so we can communicate effectively was one of the reasons I decided to enter the field of social work. I have worked as a marriage mentor and facilitated step family groups for several years. I know enjoy working with families and couples helping them gain the tools and strategies necessary for healthy communication and conflict resolution.

We are seeing a rise in depression these days especially in our youth. It is so important to notice the signs and gain tools and strategies to help boost mood and control emotions. I help youth, adults find the balance and gain the skills they need to help balance mood.

I have been helping couples for the past 10 years, started out as a marriage mentor then became a social worker providing therapy. I recently started to use interventions like Solution Focus Brief Therapy with couples.

CBT is a modality I learned in undergrad and have studied since being out. I find it to be beneficial with youth and adolescents for a variety of different issues. I have found much success in helping my clients reach their goals by using CBT over the years.

I have recently become certified in SFBT and been using this module with couples. I have also used it with a few individual clients and found it to be very successful.
