About My Clients

I believe you already have everything inside you that you need in order to grow and shed old patterns. I see my role as that of a flashlight—helping you illuminate the parts of yourself that have been hidden or forgotten, so you can reconnect with your true self and move forward with greater clarity and ease.

My Background and Approach

My practice integrates diverse modalities to support your unique path. We use Psychodynamic therapy to uncover subconscious patterns and Attachment Theory to reshape how you relate to yourself and others. To manage the present, CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) identifies unhelpful thought loops, while DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) provides concrete skills for emotional regulation and distress tolerance. Recognizing that the body "keeps the score," I incorporate Somatic Experiencing (SE) to release trauma trapped in the nervous system and Mindfulness-Based Therapy to foster a grounded, non-judgmental awareness. This "top-down" and "bottom-up" approach ensures we address both the mind and the physiological roots of distress. Whether you are seeking deep insight or practical coping tools, this holistic framework promotes lasting transformation. Learn more about these evidence-based approaches through the American Psychological Association.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

My practice is rooted in the belief that every stage of life is an opportunity for profound growth. I am deeply committed to helping you navigate life's transitions—from career shifts to the complexities of aging with dignity. I believe that growing older should be a process of self-actualization, not just decline, and I advocate for a future where elders are revered for their wisdom. As a staunch ally of the LGBTQIA+ community, I provide an affirming space where your identity is celebrated, not just "tolerated". My values extend beyond our office to a deep respect for all living beings; I support animal rights, recognizing the therapeutic power of the human-animal bond and our ethical duty to protect the vulnerable. Whether we are working through personal change or systemic stress, my goal is to help you live a life of integrity that honors your true self and the world around you.
