About My Clients
I have experience helping clients with depression, anxiety, relationship issues (romantic, platonic, family, children, co-workers), parenting, life transitions, self-esteem and grief, and am a certified parent educator with extensive experience working with families in the Child Welfare System. I feel passionately about providing quality service and work to tailor my approach to meet the individual needs of each client.
My Background and Approach
As an individualistic, integrative therapist, I treat and respect you as the unique individual you are, and tailor my approach to meet your needs, pulling from a variety of techniques including CBT, DBT, Mindfulness, Expressive Arts, Attachment theory, and Solution-focused therapy. Together, we will work collaboratively to identify your goals and create a plan to help move you toward your more ideal self. In sessions, you can expect to be welcomed with warmth, genuineness, empathy and compassion and to be treated with dignity and respect. Our time together is a judgment free space to explore your thoughts, feelings, challenges and successes. We will build on the strengths you already have to empower you to make the change you hope to see in your life. Ultimately, my goal is to create an environment that both supports and challenges you in pushing past whatever it is that holds you back from living the life you truly want.
