My Background and Approach
I have been doing therapy for 10 years in a variety of settings and found my home in private practice. I specialize in working with anxiety and athletic performance. My sessions are usually a combination of time for the client to talk and share what is on their mind, teaching and practicing mindfulness tools that they can use in everyday life and Brainspotting. Brainspotting is a modality that encourages healing at the level of the nervous system. It is a structured, protocol based treatment that is massively successful in helping people reduce deep seeded anxiety. It is also quite impactful in assisting athletes to take their sport to the next level, get over the "yipps", reduce concussion symptoms and work through the trauma impacting performance.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am an advocate of social justice and am dedicated to the practice of growth in my allyship and advocacy work. I believe in practices backed by science and validated further by the results I see daily with my clients
