About My Clients
Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, stuck, or exhausted from carrying burdens they did not choose. They may be struggling with body image, self-acceptance, anxiety, trauma, ADHD, life transitions, chronic stress, or the effects of living in systems that have impacted their sense of belonging and worth. Together, we work toward greater self-understanding, self-compassion, resilience, and a life that feels more authentic and aligned with their values.
My Background and Approach
I founded Mindful Path Counseling to create a therapeutic space rooted in connection, compassion, and authenticity. For more than a decade, I have supported clients navigating body image concerns, self-acceptance, anxiety, trauma, ADHD, life transitions, and chronic stress. Healing looks different for everyone. I offer a collaborative approach that helps clients reconnect with themselves, process difficult experiences, and build resilience. My work integrates talk therapy, EMDR, somatic and body-based approaches, nervous system regulation, creative expression (art, movement, music, and writing), the Safe and Sound Protocol®, and Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP). I have training in EMDR, somatic therapies, nervous system regulation, KAP, and Women-Centered ADHD Treatment (W-CAT), and I am certified in Unyte's Safe and Sound Protocol®.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe healing begins when we can meet ourselves with curiosity rather than judgment. Therapy can help us balance self-acceptance with meaningful change. We do not all begin life from the same place. Our experiences are shaped by our relationships, identities, communities, and the systems we navigate. Many of us carry burdens we did not choose, including body shame, discrimination, trauma, anxiety, depression, and chronic stress. Healing is not about fixing what is wrong with you; it is about understanding your story, reclaiming your strengths, and creating a life that feels more authentic and fulfilling. My practice is grounded in a feminist, body-centered perspective and guided by the principles of Body Liberation and Health at Every Size® (HAES). I believe all bodies deserve respect, care, and belonging. You do not need to change your body to be worthy of healing. Instead, therapy can help you reconnect with yourself and your body's wisdom.
