About My Clients
I work with clients who have experienced trauma, have a history of domestic abuse or intimate partner violence, anxiety, depression, stress, shame, and through life transitions. I help clients recognize and utilize their strengths to achieve their goals. I believe counseling is a collaborative experience, and I will adjust my approach based on your needs.
My Background and Approach
My approach is influenced by Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, along with a Narrative Approach through art directives. I use a solution-focused approach to address client's immediate concerns and help stabilize the individual through the counseling process. I often utilize techniques such as mindfulness, self-compassion, externalization, and values work throughout therapy. Within my approach, you are the expert of your experiences, and I can shift my interventions based on your wants and needs to best meet your concerns.
