About My Clients
My clients are individuals, couples, and families who feel stuck in painful patterns—often shaped by trauma, stress, conflict, or major life transitions. They want relief, better communication, healthier boundaries, and deeper connection. Many are high-functioning on the outside but overwhelmed inside, ready for real change with practical support.
My Background and Approach
I’m a Marriage & Family Therapist who works with individuals, couples, and families through a trauma-informed, systemic lens. I believe symptoms often make sense in the context of our relationships, histories, and environments—and healing happens when we understand the patterns and build new ways of coping and connecting. My style is warm, direct when needed, and deeply collaborative. I integrate evidence-based approaches (including CBT/DBT-informed skills and attachment-focused work) to help you regulate emotions, communicate effectively, set boundaries, and process difficult experiences at a pace that feels safe. Sessions are practical and supportive—you’ll leave with insight and tools you can use in real life.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe healing happens when people feel safe, respected, and truly seen. I’m committed to providing an inclusive, affirming space for clients of all identities, backgrounds, and relationship structures. My work is grounded in compassion, curiosity, and cultural humility, and I recognize how trauma, oppression, and systemic barriers can impact mental health and relationships. I value consent, collaboration, and empowerment—therapy shouldn’t feel like you’re being “fixed,” but supported as you build insight, skills, and self-trust. I also believe in evidence-based care that is practical and tailored, while honoring your lived experience, values, and goals.
