About My Clients
I support clients navigating relationship patterns, attachment wounds, chronic illness, women’s health, perinatal mental health, endometriosis and medical trauma. Many feel exhausted from people-pleasing, burnout, anxiety, isolation, or feeling unheard by others and the medical system. My approach is warm, validating, and collaborative. I believe therapy is not one-size-fits-all, and that healing happens through a strong therapeutic relationship where you can safely show up as yourself.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate passionate about supporting individuals navigating women’s mental health, chronic illness, relationship challenges, attachment wounds, perinatal mental health, and medical trauma. My background includes work in outpatient and community mental health settings, higher education, and supporting clients through anxiety, burnout, grief, identity changes, and life transitions. I also have experience supporting individuals living with chronic illnesses and invisible conditions, including endometriosis and other women’s health concerns that can significantly impact emotional well-being and quality of life. I have additional training in medical trauma and am Perinatal Mental Health Certified (PMH-C) through Postpartum Support International. My clinical interests include supporting individuals navigating pregnancy, postpartum challenges, infertility, birth trauma, difficult healthcare experiences, and the emotional impact of chronic illness.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that YOU are the expert on you. As your therapist, I am not here to “fix” you, but to walk alongside you as you navigate your healing journey. I believe therapy should feel collaborative, authentic, supportive, and individualized to your unique experiences and needs. As someone with lived experience in healing and chronic illness, I understand first-hand that therapy can feel scary, awkward, exciting, vulnerable, and overwhelming all at once. You do not have to carry those experiences alone. I strongly believe in the importance of compassionate healthcare and validating the emotional impact of medical trauma. I am passionate about women’s health, chronic illness advocacy, and endometriosis awareness, and I understand how deeply these experiences can affect identity, relationships, self-esteem, and emotional well-being. I am an active endometriosis advocate in my community, where I host educational events, facilitate support groups, and help create spaces for connection.
