About My Clients

Are you in a struggle or rough patch in life? Are you someone that use to enjoy activities, or hobbie? Are you someone that likes to explore better habits, things about yourself, or exploring the wonders of nature? I specialize in trauma-informed and strength-based with Counseling and Art Therapy. I seek to provide a safe and comfortable space to help you feel well again.

My Background and Approach

Hello! I am honored, and I seek to provide a safe and welcoming space. I seek to empower my clients with autonomy, respect, and empathy in a trauma-informed and strength-based approach. I often look for what is important to you, the client. As a trained Art Therapist, I may suggest a creative method to help process the pain in a visual or expressive method. There is no right or wrong way to do art, and a creative process is for everyone! I hope to be a guiding light for clients and a trusting witness on their journey. As a Wounded Healer, I can provide the intuition and empathy that one needs in a creative process to be seen and heard. I hope to help guide and develop you as a person into your authentic self. I am present for folks to feel safe to flow and transform in your own way.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe that everyone has bravery and courage within themselves. Therapy doesn't have to be uncomfortable or scary. I hope you can find your truth in your vulnerability. believe in looking at a holistic and multi-faceted lens in how your stressors or challenges came to be. Let's explore together at how you can become healthy again. I like to use compassionate counseling, strength-based, and humanistic creative methods in a neuro-sequential model. I strive to see you as a person and human - not someone crippling with symptoms or labeled with a diagnosis. I also love to spend time in Nature, and might suggest Eco-Therapy models as well. I am also active on the Multi-Cultural Committee which strives to see all races, genders, and cultures in the national Art Therapy community. I am based in Kentucky, and can meet you online from anywhere in Kentucky Monday - Thursday, and in office in Lexington on Fridays. Reach out to call or text at 502-219-3488 or at Contact@KentuckyServices.org.
