About My Clients
My ideal clients are motivated teens, adults, and families ready to engage in online therapy for anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, grief, family conflict, or life transitions. They are open to exploring their past, committed to growth, and seeking resilience and healing. If you're ready to move forward, let's connect!
My Background and Approach
With over 24 years in the mental health field, I'm Brantlee Spurrier, a Licensed Independent Social Worker-Clinical Practice (LISW-CP) in South Carolina. My approach to teletherapy is rooted in creating a safe, trauma-informed space where you feel heard and understood. I utilize evidence-based methods like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you build resilience and find healing. Together, we'll explore your current situation, set meaningful goals, and work towards where you want to be. Depending on your needs, we may also involve family members in sessions to best support your goals. My aim is to empower you to make meaningful changes and discover what your life looks like free from the challenges that brought you to therapy.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to gently reflect, listen, and sometimes ask those tough questions that challenge you and help you to move forward. I am gender affirming, non-judgemental and an eternal optimist, believing that mental wellness is achievable for everyone. I believe that you can learn to let go of the past hurt and trauma and move forward with confidence and resilience. If you're ready for change, let's connect!
