Having had a child with ADHD I began researching and learning about the diagnosis. I have since worked with many individuals and families on tips and tricks to help them through school and/or work successfully.

In my years of practice I have worked mostly with adolescents. Adolescents in today's society face many things that are stressful and affect their mental health. I have worked with teens on self worth, self-harm, depression, anxiety, social media concerns and stressors, sex, drugs and future life goal planning.

Life is a struggle sometimes. Learning to walk up the uphill battle with a backpack of weights can be difficult. I have walked many clients of all ages through getting rid of the weight of depression and climbing out of the black hole they feel they are in.

I love working with couples to learn how to communicate and work through whatever they may be struggling with. I have completed multiple training's on marriage and communication.

I have completed multiple training in CBT. I am certified in a CBT program called Pesky Gnats designed to work on catching our negative automatic thoughts. I also have a Family Focused CBT program when working with a family.

Art helps individuals express emotions when they may not be able to find the right words to express what they are feeling / going through. You don't have to be 'good at art' to find art therapy useful for you.
