About My Clients
My ideal client is a sensitive, thoughtful woman or LGBTQ+ adult who feels things deeply and is tired of just surviving. They may carry trauma, anxiety, spiritual wounds, or a sense of not belonging. They’re seeking a grounded, creative therapist who offers warmth, steadiness, and gentle guidance as they reconnect with their authentic self, set healthier boundaries, and build a calmer, more meaningful life.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) practicing since 2013, currently providing therapy exclusively via secure telehealth. Early in my career, I worked as a school-based therapist, supporting children and adolescents experiencing trauma, anxiety, mood disorders, and systemic related stress, including youth involved with foster care, social services, and the Department of Juvenile Justice. In private practice, I predominantly work with women, LGBTQ+ clients, and adults who have experienced developmental trauma, emotional neglect, relational problems, or ongoing stressors related to identity, neurodivergence, or systemic oppression. My approach blends TF-CBT, Narrative Therapy, Experiential modalities, and parts work to help clients process trauma, set healthier boundaries, understand their inner world, and reconnect with their authentic self. I emphasize a warm, nurturing virtual space while gently challenging clients to foster meaningful, sustainable growth.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am a pansexual cis woman with eclectic spiritual beliefs who values kindness to people, animals, and the planet. I care deeply about social justice, dismantling racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, and ending systems of oppression. I have a special place in my heart for animals—my own pets include four cats and a dog, and I care for a feral cat community in my neighborhood. I am an artist with a BFA, currently exploring gouache, charcoal, and pastel, and I love creative self-expression. My most important role is being a mother; I am passionate about child advocacy and fostering respect and care for all children. I have ADHD and am a parent to an incredible AUDHD child. My current special interests include cross-stitch, crocheting, and learning Mandarin Chinese.
