K & B Therapy, Inc. is a mental health group practice located in Sherman Oaks, CA. We specialize in providing culturally sensitive mental health services (and other services) for professionals, college students, and people of color. We aim to support clients find answers within themselves to identify their optimal balance between success and happiness.
My Background and Approach
K&B Therapy, Inc is the symbol of the new generation of mental health private practices. We bring a unique yet comforting experiencing while only providing the highest quality of care to our clients. Our team is a reflection of the combination and balance of: cultural humility, trust, humor, integrity, and compassion. We aim to create an environment which harvests and nurtures our clients' personal and/or professional growth.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Life can be a tough place, but I've learned over the years that with the right perspective and right kind of help/support, we can overcome much more than we ever imagined possible, and thrive instead of just survive in life. Whether you are feeling stressed, anxious and/or experiencing lack of clarity in life; and you wish things would/could be different, but you do not how or what needs to change...that is why we are here. Together, we aim to help you become the best version of yourself. As people of color, young professional, and first generation graduate-level college graduates in our family, we have experienced the complexities of navigating life transitions, cultural/racial identity, the acculturation process, and the stress of trying to find a balance between success AND happiness in today's complex world. Hence, we am combining our personal experiences with our professional knowledge, in order to help and support others.
