About My Clients
My clients are high-achieving students and professionals who feel the weight of perfectionism, imposter syndrome, and identity pressures. Many are navigating complex trauma, workplace stress, or relationship challenges while trying to stay connected to who they are. I especially enjoy working with BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, neurodiverse, and other underrepresented folks who often feel unseen in traditional spaces.
My Background and Approach
As a licensed clinical psychologist, I specialize in supporting ambitious individuals who feel overwhelmed by high-pressure environments and cultural expectations. My approach is relational, collaborative, and grounded in deep respect for your lived experience. I integrate evidence-based practices like trauma-attuned therapy, ACT, and mindfulness with culturally responsive care. Therapy with me isn’t about fixing who you are—it’s about creating space to understand yourself more fully, explore patterns that no longer serve you, and build a life that feels aligned with your values. I work to ensure therapy feels like a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where you can be your full self without having to code-switch or explain your existence. I provide therapy through Intersect Clinical Services, a preferred provider for Boston-area students. We accept UHC StudentResources and Aetna Student Health with minimal or no out-of-pocket costs.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy should be a liberating experience—not an exercise in assimilation. Mental health is not just about symptom reduction but about reclaiming your narrative, finding emotional freedom, and nurturing meaningful connections. I view healing as deeply relational, informed by the intersections of culture, identity, and community. For many of us, the “invisible load” of societal expectations, microaggressions, and perfectionism goes unspoken—yet it deeply shapes how we experience the world. My role is to help you untangle these pressures, honor your full identity, and move toward a more authentic, fulfilling life. Healing happens when you feel truly seen, heard, and valued—not when you’re forced to fit into narrow definitions of success. You deserve therapy that honors your full self. Reach out to see if I—or someone on my team—might be the right fit for you.
