I tend to work through a critical consciousness lens, in which action and reflection are both a part of the therapeutic process. What's most important therapeutically is that you understand the reason why what you’re doing is helpful, and see and feel yourself making a difference towards an outcome, even if you can’t completely control the highest level outcome.

I am an EMDR therapist and thus work with trauma by defining how it has affected what you believe about yourself, and working to help your mind and body understand the truth about yourself and your safety now.

I work with ADHD from a perspective of neurodiversity, in which we embrace the workings of your mind as simply being you, rather than being defective, and seek ways to create harmony between how your mind works, what you need to accomplish, and the neurotypical structures often being forced upon you.

I am an EMDR therapist who has published a peer-reviewed journal article and presented at a major industry conference in 2021 on the topic.
