About My Clients
I work with teens (12+) and adults of all ages. When working with younger teens, I also involve the parents as needed, especially when treating teens with OCD. I have daytime and evening appointments. In some circumstances, I may also have weekend availability. I look forward to providing you with a positive, friendly, and professional therapy experience!
My Background and Approach
I am a licensed psychologist with many years of experience treating depression, anxiety, trauma, OCD, relationships, and challenging life events. My training is in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as well as other evidence-based approaches such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I also have specialized training in providing therapy to LGBTQ youth.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
All of the therapists at The Snow Psychology Group are fully trained and independently licensed. Our psychologists are licensed to provide telehealth services to those in MD/DC/VA and over 25 other participating PSYPACT states. We have specialized training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure with Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for trauma, ACT, mindfulness, Gottman method couples therapy, as well as supportive psychotherapies. Our therapists are experienced at tailoring their specific approach to the needs of each individual and we strive to match each patient with the therapist in our practice who would be the best fit for them.
