About My Clients
I work with couples and individuals walking through hard seasons. Couples in conflict, after infidelity, or whose intimacy has gone quiet. Couples preparing for marriage who want to do it on purpose. Individuals carrying anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, or faith questions they can't talk about elsewhere. You'll find someone who isn't surprised by hard stories, takes the work seriously, and believes you can build something better than what you've got.
My Background and Approach
I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (Georgia License #MFT001247, South Carolina License LMF.8266) with a Master's degree from Richmont Graduate University. Over 15 years, I've worked with hundreds of couples and individuals through marriage strain, betrayal, sexual concerns, grief, and faith questions. I'm not surprised by hard stories. I draw heavily on Gottman Method Couples Therapy and completed Level 2 Training in this research-based approach. In couples sessions, I use tools from this method for managing conflict, repair attempts, building emotional connection, and rebuilding trust after rupture. As a Certified Sex Therapist, I work with couples and individuals on intimacy concerns, mismatched desire, sexual dysfunction, sex addiction recovery, and the effects of past trauma. As a Certified SYMBIS Facilitator, I guide engaged couples through premarital preparation using the SYMBIS Assessment.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My Christian faith shapes how I see people, marriage, and the work of healing. I believe marriage is meant to be lifelong, sacrificial, and life-giving, and that becoming that kind of partner is some of the most important work any of us will do. I'm openly a Christian counselor, and many of my clients seek me out specifically because they want their faith part of the therapy room. For those clients, I integrate prayer, Scripture, and biblical principles when invited. I also see clients who don't share my faith. You are equally welcome here. I won't impose my beliefs. I'll meet you where you are, respect what you bring, and give you the same clinical care. Beyond faith, I'm a husband and a father trying to raise my children well. The "legacy" in Legacy Marriage Resources isn't a marketing word for me. It's what I believe we're all building, one conversation and one decision at a time.
