About My Clients
If you struggle with work related or childhood trauma, I’m here to help. Accepting who you are and “turning off” your feelings of agitation, hopelessness, and disconnect is my specialty. Your thoughts and dreams should not agitate. They should invigorate.
My Background and Approach
I attended Southern Illinois University and earned a Master of Fine Arts and the University of Southern California earning a second master’s degree in Social Work. I have over 11 years of clinical, trauma-informed training, where the foundation I strive to build for clients is an environment, and a professional relationship, of safety and acceptance. I pride myself as an anti-oppressive, anti-racist clinician. *If you are an active or inactive Fire/LE/Military, I offer a flat discounted rate of $100.00 per session.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My passion is treating past trauma, whether in childhood or adult. My methodology to address trauma has its foundations in Dr. Eric Gentry’s hierarchy which starts with having a solid therapeutic trust and alliance. I strongly believe my clients must feel a supportive acceptance to truly engage in transformative change. In addition, I am trained and certified in using the Trauma Regulation Integration Process (TRIP) for complex trauma and PTSD. My approach is direct yet not rigid. I will walk alongside you on your journey and identify new strategies to help you remember your wholeness and feel free in your life.
