Are you emotionally exhausted from just trying to put one foot in front of the other? There is always a root cause for that exhaustion; whether it be trauma, life stressors, occupational stress, etc. You don't have to figure it out on your own. My Background and Approach
I learn just as much from my clients as they learn from me. My work is grounded in empathy, trust, and collaboration—I believe that meaningful change begins with a strong, supportive therapeutic relationship. I tailor each session to your needs. In the beginning of my career, I made sure that I experienced many mental health settings and different populations so that I could best serve my clients in private practice. I have worked with individuals, children, families, couples. I have worked with teachers, active duty military, veterans, first responders and most recently supporting federal employees. I am direct, usually with humor, but only to empower you. No pressure, no judgment. I take a client-centered approach and gain insight into how your past may be showing up in your present. This is a collaborative effort for lasting change.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that people are resilient and that sometimes it is down right exhausting to do it all on your own. People deserve to feel safe and not judged, supported without expectations and guided without control. I am truly humbled by people's capacity for growth and healing on a daily basis. I have 2 dogs and a few cats who may make an appearance during sessions. I assure you, they will not break confidentiality :) I am a die hard South Carolina Gamecocks fan and during football season you may catch me in a less professional look while wearing my Carolina garb.
