About My Clients
Life can feel overwhelming, leaving you feeling unseen, unheard, or weighed down by emotions that are hard to carry alone. At Circle of Hope Counseling Services, I offer a compassionate space where your feelings are acknowledged and valued. Together, we’ll navigate life’s challenges and uncover the strength within you (Isaiah 61:3). I work with individuals, couples, families, and teens (14+).
My Background and Approach
I use practical, evidence-based tools designed to help you find relief and build lasting change. My goal is to equip you with techniques you can use anytime to manage anxiety, regulate emotions, and feel more in control. My approach is direct, supportive, and solution-focused. We’ll work together to address what’s happening right now while building skills for long-term healing. My work focuses on helping individuals navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, and life stressors. Together, we’ll explore how your thoughts, emotions, and body responses are connected, and I’ll guide you in developing healthier patterns and coping strategies. You’ll learn how stress and fear impact your body and how to calm your nervous system effectively. Over time, you’ll build resilience, confidence, and the ability to respond to challenges in a more grounded, empowered way.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
At Circle of Hope Counseling Services, my mission is to serve others by helping them find clarity, healing, and hope in life’s challenges. I believe true healing begins from the inside out, and I am passionate about reducing the stigma surrounding mental health and promoting suicide awareness and prevention. In addition to my professional training, I bring lived experience as a biological, adoptive, and foster mom, as well as a former CASA worker. My journey has been shaped by both education and real-life challenges, including raising differently-abled children. I understand what it feels like to reach out for help and not feel seen or heard. That experience led me to pursue this work to become the kind of support I once needed. My goal is to provide a compassionate, non-judgmental space where you feel safe, understood, and supported as you navigate life’s difficulties.
