About My Clients
I work with adults who are carrying trauma or complex trauma and feel stuck in survival mode. Many are neurodivergent, highly sensitive, or grew up in environments where they had to stay alert or take care of others. They want clarity, emotional regulation, healthier boundaries, and a space where they do not have to mask or explain themselves. I offer in person sessions in Lafayette, LA and telehealth to clients located in Louisiana, Georgia, Minnesota, and Ohio through the Counseling Compact.
My Background and Approach
I have experience in community based work, crisis intervention, and outpatient therapy, which shaped my steady and trauma informed approach. I use EMDR, CPT informed trauma work, attachment focused therapy, and nervous system regulation skills to help clients understand their patterns and create new ways of coping. My work is collaborative, paced, and neurodiversity affirming, with a focus on safety, clarity, and practical change.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in creating spaces where people feel safe to be their full selves. I value fairness, autonomy, and respect for lived experience. I support LGBTQIA+ communities and neurodivergent communities, and I believe in reducing harm in systems that have not always been safe for them. I care deeply about justice, compassion, and helping people understand themselves without shame.
