About My Clients
In the 10 years I have been in the field, I have worked with littles, teens, and adults. I have found a special place in my heart and mind for those who have experienced trauma and infertility. Both of these issues have a huge impact on all areas of the life and can be all consuming. There are so many emotions that come up that can be very hard to talk about and I take great care in walking with people through these issues.
My Background and Approach
I graduated from Adams State University in Colorado in 2015. I am a licensed professional counselor in the states of Michigan and Colorado. Therapy is a place all should feel safe. I approach therapy from a place of non-judgement and compassion. I take care to help build the relationship so that all clients feel safe to do their therapeutic work. I also believe that therapy shouldn't be sterile because life isn't and people sure aren't! If I don't show up genuinely for my clients, how would I expect my clients to be able to do the same?
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am an old lady stuck in a millennial body! I enjoy crafts and my dog and am a true crime junkie!I have strong convictions for the LGBTQIA+ community and cultural competence.
