About My Clients
All signs point to you being a high-achieving person, yet you feel stuck repeating painful patterns and getting in your own way. Self-doubt, perfectionism, quiet anger, and shame; sometimes, these emotions make your goals feel just out of reach. You have tried to seek help before, but it never seems to deliver. Maybe it seems hopeless or useless to try again. But I will point out that you are here, seeking help again. Maybe this time, it can be different.
My Background and Approach
I draw from a blend of evidence-based approaches grounded in psychoanalytic theory and practice. That means our sessions will involve exploring the deeper emotional themes that shape your life—your beliefs about the world, your relationships, and yourself. We’ll also pay close attention to how you experience the therapy relationship, using it as a real-time source of insight. This process isn’t always easy, especially if relationships are a chronic source of pain. But by creating a safe and structured environment, we can observe and understand what makes connection difficult for you. Through this professional relationship, you may begin to identify the emotions, thoughts, and patterns that hold you back—and develop the clarity and stability you need to build a more satisfying and meaningful life.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Given my therapeutic approach, I tend not to share much about my personal life or beliefs, as I believe therapy should center on you—your experiences, values, and goals. That said, I understand the importance of knowing your therapist is someone you can trust. You should know that I stand firmly against all forms of bigotry and prioritize empathy, openness, and respect for all identities. If you’d like to know more, I welcome prospective clients to reach out directly.
