About My Clients
No matter where you are in your journey, therapy can offer clarity, support, and tools to navigate life's complexities. Whether you are navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship patterns, or identity, I adapt collaboratively to what you need. I specialize in trauma, anxiety, OCD, depression, relationships, and LGBTQ+ identity. Taking the first step toward therapy can feel daunting, and that is completely okay. You do not need to have it all figured out to reach out.
My Background and Approach
I have clinical experience through individual psychotherapy, crisis mental health, Alzheimer's Disease research, and working with underserved populations affected by homelessness, substance use, and domestic violence. These experiences have deepened my commitment to meeting clients where they are: with genuine curiosity, compassion, and care. My approach is integrative and person-centered, drawing from psychodynamic theory, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, humanistic principles, and feminist frameworks. I tailor my work to each person, weaving in mindfulness, emotional expression, and mind-body awareness as meaningful tools in the therapeutic space. I'm particularly attuned to the ways identity, culture, and lived experience shape our inner lives. Together we'll set meaningful goals, track progress, and adjust our approach as your needs evolve as therapy is a genuine collaboration.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe the therapeutic relationship is a major agent for positive change. Together, we can tailor the work to what works best for you through trauma-informed, humanistic, and feminist principles. I believe therapy should work at your pace, while offering a safe, nonjudgmental space to be challenged and grow.
