About My Clients
Many adults I work with look put-together on the outside but feel overwhelmed or stuck inside. They're navigating anxiety, grief, relationship stress, life transitions, or questions about identity and belonging. Some are part of the LGBTQ+ community and want a therapist who understands that experience firsthand. They're ready to do more than talk about problems. They want to understand them and respond differently.
My Background and Approach
I'm a Licensed Independent Social Worker (Ohio and Virginia) with over a decade of experience working with adults. My approach draws from DBT, ACT, and parts work, blending practical tools with deeper exploration of values, patterns, and the stories we tell ourselves. I don't believe in cookie-cutter therapy. We'll work together to understand your story, identify what's working and what isn't, and build a path forward that fits your life and your identity. Whether you're queer, questioning, or simply looking for a therapist who gets it, you'll find a space here that welcomes all of you.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe everyone deserves a space that is judgment-free, honest, and without pressure. I bring both personal and professional understanding. Real change happens when therapy aligns with your values and goals, not someone else's idea of what healing should look like. My role is to walk alongside you, not ahead of you.
