About My Clients
Those that are typically drawn to work with me are overall women who struggle with putting themselves first. This may be gen z college/post college women figuring out next steps in life, millennial moms attempting to manage the stress and pressures of parenthood, helping/healing professionals navigating burnout or self-identified empaths that feel the weight of the world, survivors of sexual trauma or any difficult experiences that are holding you back in life.
My Background and Approach
I have over 15 years of experience in the mental health field, consisting of working with survivors of interpersonal violence and sexual trauma, youth and families in the foster care and adoption world, and creating space for women to prioritize their own emotional wellness and shift core beliefs to make desired changes in life. I’m trained in various evidenced-based modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT-Tapping), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Theraplay (Attachment Therapy), Certified Perinatal Mental Health professional. I utilize a holistic approach focused on the mind-body connection and treatment is a collaborative process to ensure client needs are prioritized.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a mom of two young girls and a mental health advocate, I believe each female has a right for their voices to be heard in a world that often dismisses them. I empower my clients through creating an open and accepting environment to identify and shift negative core beliefs that have been reinforced through society through understanding the root and processing difficult experiences.
