About My Clients
I treat anxiety and panic attacks, depression, OCD, ADHD, life transitions/adjustments, and trauma. I also have experience treating substance use disorders from my post graduate background of working in a substance use intensive outpatient setting. I can offer support to individuals coping with substance use disorders as well as family members impacted by their loved one’s substance use patterns.
My Background and Approach
I have over six years of experience providing individual therapy in a private practice setting. I provide a safe and non judgmental space to assist individuals in exploring and increasing self worth, self empowerment, and developing a healthy routine. I believe in using a strengths based approach to encourage finding joy and gratitude. If you find yourself feeling consumed by the past, disconnected from the present, or anxious about the future, I will support you in rediscovering connection to yourself and others in sustainable and healthy ways. I am a trauma informed therapist and am trained in cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, communication skill strategies, and mindfulness techniques. I utilize evidenced based therapeutic tools specific to your needs and goals to achieve lasting change. I also offer clinical supervision to MSW graduates working toward clinical licensure. I am a board approved supervisor in the state of New Hampshire.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am a firm believer that humor and laughter are fundamental life skills that I practice often in and outside of the office. I am not a “cookie cutter” therapist, I enjoy treating each client with an individualized approach. We are all humans striving to learn and grow, and I look forward to being a part of that journey with you.
