My Background and Approach
As a trauma specialist, I work with adults who struggle with (C)PTSD, anxiety, depression, anger, impulsive behavior, and interpersonal conflict. I focus on attachment-based, mindful-based, person-centered, and acceptance- and compassion-based strategies to focus on what is meaningful in your life and help move you close to what brings happiness and purpose. In my practice, I combine traditional talk therapy with somatic work. Somatic therapy utilizes the body-oriented approach designed to release the areas of stress, tension, and trauma stored in the body. When combined with talk therapy, it provides you with the most integrative treatment experience and the best chance of healing past emotional wounds.
