About My Clients
I work with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, identity exploration, and life transitions. I have a special interest in working with LGBTQ+ clients, international students, and people from immigrant and BIPOC communities.
My Background and Approach
Therapy can be a space to reconnect with the parts of yourself that have been silenced, dismissed, or overwhelmed. I believe in meeting each client with curiosity, empathy, and respect. My role is to listen deeply and walk alongside you as you explore what’s been holding you back and discover what’s possible moving forward. My approach is collaborative and flexible. I primarily draw from person-centered therapy and cognitive behavioral techniques, while also incorporating mindfulness-based practices. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all therapy, whether we’re building coping tools, unpacking old patterns, or simply creating space to process, I’ll tailor our work to what feels most supportive for you.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a trans Asian mental health professional, I know how important it is to feel truly seen and understood—especially in spaces that haven't always felt safe or affirming. I’m committed to creating a therapeutic environment where all identities are welcome and valued. I provide gender-affirming care and bring a strong sense of cultural humility, recognizing how identity, lived experience, and systemic factors shape our mental health. I care deeply about expanding access to affirming care for LGBTQ+, BIPOC, immigrant, and international student communities. These values guide not only my work with clients, but also how I continue to grow and advocate within the field. I aim to show up with warmth, openness, and a deep respect for each person’s unique story.
