About My Clients
I work with individuals, couples, and families. I work with clients who are addressing sexual and relational trauma, grief and loss, perimenopause and menopause, life transitions, communication issues, intimate relationship conflict, depression, anxiety, and somatic and eco therapies.
My Background and Approach
Blythe takes a strengths-based, client-centered, and collaborative approach to therapy using a curious, holistic, and wholehearted therapeutic style. She does not look for ‘what is wrong’ but rather, she seeks to understand what is needed. Blythe believes that the problems and difficulties people experience are symptoms of unmet needs. Blythe works with several evidence-based treatments including narrative therapy and internal family systems (IFS). She is interested in how stories shape the way we see and experience the world and the roles we play in those stories. Blythe uses a systemic lens to understand her clients, considering how a client’s experiences, relationships, patterns, challenges and/or trauma, health, and larger systemic issues contribute to the problems clients seek therapy to address.
