About My Clients

I specialize in working with adults and adolescents/teens struggling with anxiety, trauma, depression, relationship issues, etc. I have a passion for helping those who have encountered religious trauma (especially LGBTQ+) and family-related trauma. I also enjoy seeing couples and navigating faith/spirituality (Christian or other) with clients if they want.

My Background and Approach

I mostly use Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT) but cater my approach to clients' specific needs. I have devoted countless hours to training in these therapeutic approaches because they are centered around listening to clients, respecting clients' worth/ value, getting to the root causes and issues in therapy, and they are backed by extensive research. Beyond these forms of therapy, I also put a special emphasis on meeting my clients where they are. I will ask good questions, listen to you, support and encourage you, and will provide a compassionate, non-judgemental space for healing to take place. Finding the right fit in counseling is important. If we aren't the right fit, I would be happy to help refer you elsewhere. Feel free to call or text (843)-619-7928 with questions or to connect and see if we're a good fit.
