About My Clients
We all have experienced hurt, sadness, discouragement, setbacks, and unfulfilled expectations. Some of us even make choices intentionally or unintentionally that hurt the people we love the most. In my experience, therapy is a safe, non-judgmental place to explore the aspects of our lives that are hard to hard to share. My aim as a therapist is not only to be a willing listening ear, but to be a companion and guide for you to achieve the goals you have along with uncovering your strengths.
My Background and Approach
My approach is integrative, I utilize different therapeutic approaches tailored to each individual or couple. I believe that therapy is never a one-size-fits-all experience and I ensure that each session is approached in a way that considers the unique challenges of the person or couple. Additionally, I have included some therapeutic modalities that I have been trained in such as Cognitive behavioral therapy, attachment therapy, solution-focused therapy, and the Gottman method.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy is done best when there is significant rapport built between the client and the therapist. I understand that seeking out therapy can feel like an intimidating experience. This is why I am committed to creating an environment that is nonjudgemental and supportive where clients can feel safe sharing their fears, stories, and aspirations. It is only in a safe place where we can be authentic and experience true healing so growth can begin.
