About My Clients
I work exclusively with women navigating the aftermath of marriage dissolution — whether you are contemplating separation, in the middle of proceedings, recently finalized, or years out but still carrying the weight of an identity that no longer fits. You don't need to have it together to come here. You don't need to be over it. You just need to be ready to stop surviving and start becoming. The threshold has many entry points. Wherever you are, I'll meet you there.
My Background and Approach
I am a Tennessee Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Board-Approved Clinical Supervisor with over two decades of experience providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health care to adults. I specialize in working with anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and borderline personality disorder, and my primary therapeutic framework is Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I am also certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). Drawing from my background in clinical social work, medical science education, and evidence-based therapies such as DBT, I help clients develop practical skills while also exploring deeper patterns, beliefs, and values. When appropriate, I incorporate discussions of physical health, nervous system regulation, lifestyle factors, and spirituality — always guided by the client's preferences and belief system. My goal is to support healing that is integrated, sustainable, and aligned with the person you are as a whole.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My work moves through four territories that divorce/ending a long-term relationship asks every woman to navigate: The Relationship Story — Your story deserves to be witnessed fully, without judgment, without rushing toward resolution. Grief, rage, love, relief, shame, confusion. All of it is allowed here. The Home Story — Divorce rewrites what home, family, and belonging mean. Together we orient you — not back to what was, but forward to what home can mean when you get to decide. The Survival Story — The fear that you won't be okay is real. I midwife you through it, creating safety inside the terror, until the question shifts from will I survive? to watch me. The Soul Story — The woman who emerges from this threshold isn't who she was before. She's someone she's always been, finally unencumbered. We align to her: her desires, her worth, her vision, her life.
