About My Clients
I love working with BIPOC, immigrants/ kids from immigrant families, and people who are struggling with their identities. I also have a passion for working with people who have trauma, self-esteem issues, grief, anxiety or depression.
My Background and Approach
I believe psychotherapy is based on the power of human connection. Rather than jumping to teaching techniques, I will see who you are as a person first in a warm and safe place. I use sand tray, guided imagery and music, self-compassion and acceptance and commitment therapy in sessions.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I lived half of my life in South Korea and the other half in the States. I have lived experience as an immigrant and international student. I support people who are fighting against racism and systemic stereotypes. I would love to hear your story with curiosity and empathy.
