About My Clients
Bingbin work across life stages and cultural narratives—supporting high achievers who feel anxious beneath competence, international and first‑gen students balancing many identities, creatives and tech professionals managing burnout, and people rebuilding after hospitalization or major life disruption. Sessions move gently and go deep—Bingbin helps you reconnect with the parts of you that have been ignored, dismissed, or wounded.
My Background and Approach
Bingbin earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Landscape & Urban Studies from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, followed by dual graduate degrees in Professional Counseling at the University of Pennsylvania (M.S.Ed. and M.Phil.Ed.). During her training, Bingbin worked in community mental health settings serving BIPOC communities, children and adults experiencing psychosis and co-occurring disorders. Ms. Xia is an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC) licensed in California that integrates multiple modalities with a trauma-informed lens. She also incorporates art therapy and expressive-arts modalities, offering clients creative pathways for healing to help counter the societal pressures and overwhelming stimuli. Her passion is to help clients overcome symptomatic responses due to perfectionism and high achievement, anxiety, depression, bicultural identities, and individuals in the midst of transitions in life. She also provides therapy fully in Mandarin.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Bingbin believe therapy should feel like a safe studio—quiet enough to hear yourself, sturdy enough to hold what’s hard, and creative enough to try something new. When words aren’t enough, we create.
