I specialize in the treatment of generalized anxiety disorders, panic disorders, and high-functioning anxiety. High-functioning anxiety is a form of generalized anxiety I commonly see women struggle with in my practice. Together we can create strategies to decrease your emotional and physical exhaustion, learn tools to better manage anxiety, and create more balance in your life. I use Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy approaches to treat anxiety.

I support women on their journey to having more satisfying relationships in their lives. I help to address relationship issues such as codependency, boundaries, communication, and advocating for self. I typically support women in their relationships with romantic partners, siblings, parents, colleagues, and friends. I also work with adult children of emotionally immature parents and narcissist abuse.

I focus on helping you to learn effective coping strategies to deal with distressing situations, regulate emotions, improve interpersonal relationships and be more present in your everyday life. DBT combines elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with Zen principles of mindfulness and compassion. DBT emphasizes creating a life you want to live.

Cognitive-behavioral therapy, is the leading evidence-based treatment for adults. It is based on the idea that a person’s thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are interconnected and can be restructured to support new, healthier thoughts and actions. CBT helps people to examine which specific factors are maintaining their struggles and set personalized goals that are targeted throughout treatment.

I specialize in the treatment of Binge Eating Disorder and other forms of disordered eating. You may identify with emotional eating, compulsive overeating, food addiction, stress eating, restriction/binge cycle, and yo-yo dieting. I can help you to trust yourself with food, reconnect to your body, successfully navigate urges, and build a toolbox of skills. I utilize Intuitive Eating, Health at Every Size, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy interventions.
