About My Clients
I work with adults navigating significant life changes like starting college/grad school, career shifts, parenting, illness, and loss as well as those coping with trauma or relationship struggles. I welcome individuals and couples and bring an understanding of the complex interplay of identity, culture, and life roles.
My Background and Approach
With over 40 years of clinical and advocacy experience, I bring a depth of understanding to my work with adults and couples facing life transitions, trauma, and relationship challenges. My approach integrates psychodynamic, existential, relational, and attachment-based perspectives, combined with evidence-based methods like CBT, ACT, mindfulness, and EMDR. I tailor therapy to your unique life roles, culture, and experiences, providing a warm, compassionate space to reflect, learn, and grow. Clients appreciate my humor, authenticity, and steady guidance through life’s complexities. Many of my clients also value long-term therapy to fully explore, test, revise, and consolidate these understandings. I offer short-term options as well. After a long career, I bring awareness of and sensitivity to diverse concerns yet also enjoy learning from and with you. I invite you to schedule an appointment to talk about your goals and explore potential fit together.
