My Background and Approach
I specialize in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Strengths-Based approaches, meaning we’ll focus on building skills, finding solutions, and tapping into the strengths you already have (even if you don’t quite see them yet!). Therapy with me is not about dwelling on what’s wrong—it’s about creating real, meaningful change. You can expect a balance of gentle encouragement and direct honesty in our work together. I believe in meeting you where you are, and helping you navigate life’s challenges with practical tools, self-compassion, and a touch of humor. My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I identify as a person with disabilities and neurodivergent. My job as your therapist is to help walk you to doors of possibility and help you open the door and step through or explore why it might be hard to do so. I did work like this in my own therapy and had a lot to figure out to get more firmly on the road to being my best self I am a big believer in social justice and try my best to help advocate for policy change or keeping policy that help people exist and grow into thriving. I voulentear at my church as a lay leader and somehow working with 4th and 5th graders. However I have no desire to throw faith in your face.
