Most of my work is with individuals with trauma both generational and individual. I provide outdoor therapy which is a clinically significant modality for treating trauma alongside Schema and IFS trauma informed work. I frequently use bibliotherapy with my clients who have experienced complex trauma or who have grown up with an emotionally immature parent.

I provide private pay couples counseling using the Gottman Method. I work well with neurodivergent couples and couples who have experienced trauma. During select months of the year I provide couples focused skill based groups both utilizing traditional or outdoor therapy.

After being diagnosed with ADHD in adulthood, I personally understood how difficult it can be to stay engaged in a conventional office setting. That experience inspired me to integrate movement, nature, and meaningful experiences into the therapeutic process. I have experience as an ADHD therapist working in community mental health and starting my own private practice. This makes me uniquely inclined to work with neurodivergent individuals and neurodivergent therapists.

I use an Internal Family Systems informed modality as I have found that clients resonate with understanding how to connect back to their authentic self while also viewing other parts of the themselves through a new lens. Not only does IFS assist with self esteem and deep somatic connection with emotions, this modality also reaches intellectualizers who feel very self aware but feel disconnected with their emotions.

I use Schema informed therapy specifically for personality disorders and neurodivergent clients. Schema therapy is evidence based for BPD and NPD and I have found that with neurodivergent clients with tightly held beliefs and black and white thinking Schema Therapy has been transformative.

I provide adventure therapy using outdoor experiences in combination with evidence based modalities. Research suggests that outdoor therapy and connecting with nature in conjunction with evidence based treatments improves connection, self esteem and trauma symptoms. I am currently working on my certification as a Certified Clinical Adventure Therapist pending completion 2026. I am also completing my PHD and certification in Recreational Therapy which makes me competent in ecotherapy modalities.
