About My Clients
Bethany believes that empathy, compassion, a sense of humor, and support may help people gain confidence in themselves as whole people. Bethany's mission is to help her clients improve their personal relationships with themselves and their inner experiences. Bethany is deeply committed to diversity and inclusion, which inspire her work. Incorporating this lens into therapeutic work leads to the investigation of all elements of oneself and their manifestation in one's therapeutic experience.
My Background and Approach
Bethany has worked with people ranging in age from 3 to 80 years old as a social worker, case manager, residential therapist, community adult rehabilitative mental health services worker, children's therapeutic services and supports worker, and in-school therapist. ethany provides therapy for humans who are experiencing relationship conflict, anxiety, depression, PTSD, grief, schizophrenia, personality disorders, mood disorders, attachment trauma, survivors of complex trauma, and adjustment disorders. Bethany uses a number of therapies, which include eye movement desensitization and reprocessing skills, art therapy, dialectical behavior therapy play therapy narratives, solution-focused, cognitive-behavioral, and mindfulness skills.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Bethany collaborates with all of her clients to set goals that would best promote their overall well-being. She meets clients where they are, works with them to understand their challenges, and helps them to move toward their objectives with a supportive, strength-based approach.
